I learned to truly see through a lens.
For decades, I’ve worked in photography, documenting moments shaped by time, memory, and human connection, from lovers and new parents to the quiet in-between spaces of everyday life.
That way of seeing eventually extended into painting. Working with brush and pigment allowed me to turn my attention more fully toward the natural world and ask the same underlying questions: How does nature mark time? How does it quietly whisper to us? What will continue on whether or not we are there to witness it?
Photography remains part of my practice. It’s my sharp focus on the world around us that continues to shape everything I make, even as my creative language continues to evolve. Thank you, endlessly, for being along for the ride. I will still be here with my camera for as long as you’ll let me! Let’s make something beautiful together.
