Meg Perotti is a Northern California based fine artist working in botanical painting, illustration, and photography. Her work is rooted in close observation of the natural world, the human experience and an attunement to the unnoticed.
Alongside her studio practice, she teaches workshops that invite others into slower ways of seeing and making.
Her background in photography continues to inform her work, shaping a long-standing fascination with documentation, nostalgia, and the quiet ways people interact with the world around them.
She lives and works in Northern California with her husband and three children.

Garden Studio
I work in my little garden studio with a dutch door painted my favorite shade of dusty green. It is always a mess but it’s mine. It changes with the seasons and is my most favorite in the spring when my garden is bursting and I can open the door and listen to the rain hitting the rocks outside.
